Clyde will give a special presentation on his career as a photographer in a limited seating, ticketed event. Big Cypress Swamp and the Everglades have alway been at the heart of Clyde's photography. His first baptism in swamp water was in the Big Cypress Swamp, where he felt a primeval presence he had never felt before. This exhibit is a collection from a quatter of centurey of photographing the Big Cypress Swamp. Through the patriotic generosity of gifts from families such as the Rockefellers, many of the National Parks are preserved as the patrimony of the Nation and are ment for all. Among the many photographs in this exhibition are seveal of the same views as those made famous by Ansel Adams, but with Butcher's unique technique and vision.
